Save My Succulent!

Have a dying or unhealthy succulent and want to know what’s wrong? Send me a pic and I’ll do my best to help you save it! Have a healthy plant and just want to know what it is? I’ll help you identify it!

I am far from an expert, but I have seen my fair share of overwatering, etiolation, bug damage, fungal infection, and sunburn up close and personal.

In order for me to help, I need to see what’s going on! Follow the tips below when taking your picture to give me the best shot at helping your plant:

Make sure your photo is bright, well-lit, and in-focus
One photo is required, but the more you take, the better. A closeup of the problem, one from the top, one from the side, and one of the plant and pot are all good to include. Work those angles!

Give me the rundown of what's wrong! Droopy? Dried & brittle? Squishy? Yellowing? Browning? Wrinkling? Dropping leaves? Spotting? Have you seen any bugs? When did you first notice the problem?

How much light and water does it get?

Light: Number of hours, direct/indirect, proximity to window Water: How often do you water it? Do you top/bottom water, spritz or soak?

What type of soil mix is it in?

Tell me about your pot

Does it have a drainage hole? What is it made of? How big is it compared to your plant?
